The complicated planning process and Estate Management process required two pre-application with the planners before submitting for approval.

The scheme was then approved the first time. Lees Architects worked closely with the clients to develop a light-filled extension which referenced the previous project in a subtle but attractive manner. A lot of black paint was used throughout the external elements of the house which is referenced with the extension by utilising the colour in the furniture/doors/ external features.

The result is a unique, beautifully detailed extension which the clients love.
