An existing print works which had gone out of business allowed for a developer to purchase this dilapidated site in the middle of Barnet which has fantastic links to the underground station. We worked with the developer to generate a scheme of 6, 1 bedroom flats which finally received planning in 2012 after a hard battle with the planning department at Barnet. The high-quality traditional design utilises modern technologies which ensure a high level of thermal efficiency and good acoustic barriers between the flats. This attractive traditional style has set a precedence for the road where new planning. Applications are being submitted in this area which relates to this design. The developer was extremely happy with the result.
